In addition to providing economic and regulatory information on the most important regions and countries for the automotive sector, ANFIA promotes actions to support the internationalisation of its member companies in collaboration with ICE-Italian Trade Agency (www.ice.gov.it) and other important institutional bodies. The activities are as follows:
- foreign visits and incoming visits to promote business exchanges
- ongoing cooperation with national institutions (Ministry of Economic Development) and companies to reduce/eliminate tariff and non-tariff barriers
- subsidies relating to the position of national industries for the conclusion of multilateral free trade agreements (FTA – Free Trade Agreements) between the European Union and other countries
- combating counterfeiting of products and brands
